Inspired by the ruby, the iconic L’Interdit bottle glows in an incandescent red fading into black — evoking the most fascinating and intense shades of the precious stone. Like a talisman, it echoes the aura of power emanating from the couture bejeweled top worn by Rooney Mara, iconic face of l’Interdit, in the new campaign. Blurring the line between armor and ornament, this spectacular creation imagined by Sarah Burton, Artistic Director of Givenchy, was meticulously assembled piece by piece by the Couture ateliers.

Trace the bold origins of the forbidden with the iconic L'Interdit Eau de Parfum. A luminous yet intense white floral bouquet, it blends radiant orange blossom, jasmine and tuberose enveloped in the elegant woody notes of vetiver and patchouli. This contrast defined a new sensual, asserted femininity and established the iconic olfactory silhouette that now finds its most concentrated expression in L’Interdit Elixir.
